where to begin
Your build level depends on how far you want to go. From full frame off level 4 to a mechanical only restoration at level one here is what to expect-

LS3/ Manual conversion parts and labor- $37,500

5.7 SBC V8/ Auto conversion parts and labor- $36,500
5.7 SBC V8/ Manual conversion parts and labor- $31,500

LEVEL 1- Nothing cosmetic, the goal is to just get it running, function better, be mechanically sound and safe for road use. This service typically involves removal or replacement of the engine and powertrain. safety items like brakes, electrical and steering components. this is in the same category with our engine swap services for LS3 and 5.7 SBC.

This service typically takes 6-8 weeks only addressing these things. Service begins based on where we are at in our build schedule and complexity of the project, labor doesn't start until original replacement parts arrive and are inspected for damage.

LEVEL 2- Engine Conversions with creature comforts like AC, interior work, sound deadening, sound systems, electric windows, wheels and tires.
this service starts at the engine swap cost above adding between $5000- $10,000 and 6-12+ weeks.​​​​​​​

LEVEL 3- Non Frame Off Builds with paint, glass, body panel replacement or modifications, creature comforts and custom features unique to your taste. 9 months- a year depending on complexity and build schedule and detail wanting achieved. cost for swap plus parts and labor at a shop rate of $160.

LEVEL 4- Complete frame off or frame replacement restoration. Every part stripped off the vehicle and restored with new or refurbished parts, updates and modifications to fit your style and preferences. Minimum of 14 to 29 months depending on complexity and build schedule. Most builds range between $85,000 to $300,000 depending on trim level and engine package.

ONCE YOUR NEW POWER PLANT IS INSTALLED, WE PUT 300 TO 400 MILES ON YOUR DEFENDER TO ENSURE THERE ARE NO LEAKS, SHAKES, ELECTRICAL ISSUES AND IS 100% ROAD WORTHY.
IF WE RUN IN TO ANY ISSUES YOU WILL BE THE FIRST TO KNOW
WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AND HOW WE CAN FIX IT.
