We will be fully rebuilding 15 cars this year. Our team of in-house specialists are dedicated to being the best they can be, with the aim of exceeding our clients expectations.
Each client deals directly with one of the owners, Adam. He looks after you from the free consultation period, through the build process, up to delivery & the aftercare. He takes great pleasure in getting to know each client, understanding their needs & ensuring that we deliver a vehicle that is both aesthetically stunning as well perfectly functional.
We also specialize in W460 Gelandewagen rebuilds and OM617/ OM606 engine builds.
Our Story
The story of RRO started back in 2013 with Dave Taylor. Pioneering his way to be the first person in the midwest to build and LS swap a Land Rover Defender as Classic Land Rover Upfitters, from 6x6 development to crazy ideas that made LR history, Dave's knowledge and passion has created a unique diversity in a world full of restoration and repair shops. In 2020 Adam Krueger found Dave by accident tucked away in a small shop in Ames Iowa. Adam and Dave hit it off and a few months later were building Defenders in a new shop now located in Nevada Iowa. fast forward to 2024 Rad- Rover Outfitters LLC was born, with Dave's Brilliant mind full of ideas and Adam's passion for Defenders and drive to make some of the best 4x4's on the market the duo continues making history with innovative and original ideas.
